The next night we stayed beside a beautiful river just out of Coen. The locals assured us there were no crocs so we enjoyed a swim. Unfortunately this is the only photo I took to mark the occasion!

Started the Frenchmans Track from the PDR to get over to Lockhart River in the Ironranges National Park. Found this great campsite that the Weipa locals like to go to.

Spent the night here on the eastern coast. Windswept but warm with a beautiful beach. No swimming with the crocs though! The kids had fun in the sand dunes.
