Started the Frenchmans Track from the PDR to get over to Lockhart River in the Ironranges National Park. Found this great campsite that the Weipa locals like to go to.

The next day we set off on the 30km Frenchmans Track to Lockhart River. Some beautiful and varied country. Lots of things in flower. At the end of the track is the Pascoe a deep, fast flowing riverMeer informatie

The next night we stayed beside a beautiful river just out of Coen. The locals assured us there were no crocs so we enjoyed a swim. Unfortunately this is the only photo I took to mark the occasion!
Lakefield National Park
