Started the Frenchmans Track from the PDR to get over to Lockhart River in the Ironranges National Park. Found this great campsite that the Weipa locals like to go to.

haha, I imagine there's not enough salt in the world to kill all the flies up that way! Although I'm sure Dave had fun trying!

Lots of colourful tree trunks as the result of termites dragging up dirt to make their nests.

The next night we stayed beside a beautiful river just out of Coen. The locals assured us there were no crocs so we enjoyed a swim. Unfortunately this is the only photo I took to mark the occasion!
