Marrakech Dream Ballooning 🎈

Time for one last surprise. I told my Mum to get up bright and early because our pick-up was supposed to happen around 05:35am in the morning. We walked through the dark and empty streets of Morocco 🌃 and were actually able to listen in on the first prayer of the day, taking place in the mosque right next to us. 🕌 Around half an hour later we arrived at the base. We were greeted with some - who‘d have thought - thé à la menthe and some cake. 🍵🍰 Soon they started preparing the balloons so I had to reveal our activity of the day. 🎈 We finally took off around 06:40am. Just in time to witness the sunrise. 🌄 The views were absolutely stunning! We were very lucky because out of all three balloons that took off at our base, ours was the one that went the highest and hovered in the best position because we had lots of pretty balloons in front of us to take pictures with. We stayed in the air for a good 45-50 minutes before our picture perfect landing. Our pilot did a better job than even most pilots on Ryanair lol.Lue lisää
