Arrived late afternoon and I went out to wander round town that is the capital of the Faroes population about 20000. Total population of Faroes is about 55k. They are a satellite of Denmark but they have their own parliament and language. The old houses have turf roofs which last 40-50 years. They can be mown or get a sheep or goat to eat the grass. I walked up to the triangular church which was Lutheran. It was raining so I just wandered back through the old town.Read more
