18 hours in Bejing

It’s time to fly home. But with a 18 hour layover in Beijing, China and a granted temporary visa, we decided to go and visit Quinamen Street and catch a glimpse of the nearby square and nightlife. It was a super cool street with a bunch of streetfood, and after walking down the streets we found a good chinese hotpot place.

Knowing nothing and using google translate to order, we got some authentic food and acidentally ordered 42% rice wine! We had a good time!

The square and street get shut down with (a lot of) police precense during the night apparently, so the few images I have are taken at a distance.

Back at the airport we managed to get a hold of a 4 hour lounge room with bed and shower. Tomorrow is the final flight before copenhagen.Läs mer
