• Driving into Cody

    We opted to stay several nights at Buffalo Bill Reservoir North Fork Campground for the duration of our time in Cody, Wyoming. It's about 15 minutes outside of Cody and sits on a beautiful man-made lake formed by the damming of the Shoshone River. The climate is incredible dry with only 8-11 inches of rainfall annually, and the reservoir provides a stable water supply for the people and animals.

    The drive into town goes through a massive long tunnel built in the early 1900s with dynamite and hard manual labor. The workers started blasting on each end and met in the middle.
