Amsterdam On Arrival

So we arrived! After 22 hours in a plane with a three hour stopover in Abu Dhabi we were more than happy to finally be off the plane. It took over an hour for our luggage to come from the plane and we were a bit worried it was never coming. We managed to find the train at the airport and headed off to the centre of town. We worked out the tram we needed and finally made it to our hotel. I was amazed we managed all that with minimal sleep and minimal fuss! The room is very small and is located in the courtyard in the back of the hotel, but it is clean, quiet and the location is great.

We realised that is was 7:00 at night and so we headed out for dinner and a wander around. We were pretty much exhausted so didn’t last long, but we both love the buildings and atmosphere. Ready for exploring in the morning.En savoir plus
