Another lovely old desert town on the Murray. Home of the first bridge to span the Murray. Opened in 1879 with the first train to cross in 1886. The bridge plays a big role in linking Adelaide and Melbourne. Stayed in a lovely caravan park complete with a houseboat marina. Strolled round town, lots of old buildings/ houses made of stone, and of course, paddlesteamers!! Had to tick that box so did 3 hour lunch cruise today on 'The Proud Mary'. Mark had the best apple crumble he has ever had!!😋Read more
