Abalone at Augusta

Took a lovely country drive to Augusta today, seaside town known for green-lipped abalone- which is a real delicacy, priced at 300 dollars for 1 kilo!!
Interesting abalone fact: they live in ocean ranches.
They also have a range of wines at the Ocean Pantry here which are cellared on the ocean floor for one year. They sell for 200 dollars a bottle. Needless to say, we ate lunch at the pub up the road!! Much cheaper...もっと詳しく
