    Fowlers Bay

    Dave finally decided to overtake. 100 metres the turn left.... yes dave was 1 of those drivers. Fowlers bay is sooooooo white.. no grass just white sand.     Had a lovely time in Fowlers Bay. Heaps of things to do... we didnt even take a walk up the jetty. Would love to do more 4wdriving around the most amazing coast.

    The head of the Great Australian Bight it cost us $8 pp which Milt had a bit of a grumble about but it was an awsome sight to see.. the colours blew me away. A lovely place to stretch your legs.

    Start of the Nullabor Plains

    Now the long hall begins on the treeless plains. The weather is warming up. Had pants and jumpers on this morning. We havnt seen many wild animals until we arrived at the roadhouse. A dingo came prancing out like it owned the place. Thd workers said he came into the roadhouse the other day. The royal flying doctor plain was ready for take off so we watched that. I h asd bought some fancy icecreams from adelaide to have at the start of the nullabor.. they were delish. We will see how far we get today.Read more

    Its a top spot... except.. the really really really loud generator chugged on all night long.... there was a terrible smell of the septic wafting in and out. Tracy and bluey whom we met in fowlers bay arrived and came over for a few drinks.. they are lovely people. Had quite a few belly laughs with them... he even gave me some of his home grown...!!!!! Hmmmmmm interesting. We did have as i have now told the cook had there FAMOUS hot chips and gravy for $8 enough to feed 2 adults and 1 child... true... so we got 2 and shared them with our new friends. Bluey has tatts all over himself even his head. Tracy said only his bum is clean skin... he is the nicest bloke. On the road again just before 8 all showered fresh and ready for another adventure today.Read more

    A really nice little spot. Great showers lovely people. Lots of teeny tiny ants and a bloody snake. They came and took it away to the bushes not so far away. We were all a little bit quiet last night we all had an early night and a good sleep. We only have a small drive today so hope we wont be so zonked tonight. There were only 4 groups there so didnt bump into anyone in the loos or showers.Read more

    So were leaving frasers ridge. I get milt to stop so i can take some photos. We get to the gate and i put the walky talky on... jen doesnt have her ears on yet.. i get out to take more pics and i rearange the back seat thinking they have somehow gotten behind us.. we wait a bit then hear jen. She obviosly was just out of range. So we presume they have already left. So we leave thinking we need to catch up... every ten minutes i check the radio... nope.. maybe they are behind us. !!!!!!! So we are not going to get too worried.. we will hopefully meet up with them in norsman... i hope they wont be pissed at us if they think we have left without them... we thought they had left without us...Read more

    What a fantastic place to go.. mum you really should go for the drive.. its straoght down the expressway.. you dont have to walk far and you could take tex.
