    What a beatiful place to be... last night we had an amazing storm, lightning and thunder and 20 mls of rain. A huge clap of thunder woke us all up, milt actually jumped almost out of his skin. It was a fantastic storm. Then up showered dressed brekky anf what a beautiful drive thru the most beautiful country. I love love love tall timbers.Read more

    Anvil beach. The first look out was ok... but the third one that we went onto the rocks with the waves crashing onto them was amazing. After milt and i went to the beach. Milt went fishing on the rocks and i got eaten by mozzies so i went into the water it was bloody cold but nice.Read more

    The whale centre was a bit of a drive and a bit of a disapointment. To expensive. But i did buy milt an orca for the dash. On to Misery Beach.... not so miserable. Met some lovely local sisters at the beach had a great chatt to them. They told us we should def go for a drive into the national park even without a pass... they said we should just act dumb if we get caught.. as they dont think it is monitered. We did drive in and it was $15 per car. We however didnt stop..Read more

    Milt and i sat and watched this amazing ship come into harbour. It took only half an hour from my first photo. The tug boats do an amazing job. Just the wake out the back was huge

    What a treat ... lol...NOT... just an old run down roadhouse. But they had the cheek to charge $30 for a patch of dirt... its 8:30pm and its so bloody cold milt already snoring.     What a windy windy day it has been today. I am sick of the wind. I got wind burnt and im hiding in the van out of the wind after another funny shower. We all went out on the jetty fishing today... windy as fuck. Then Jen and Dave went 4wding then Milt and I went 4wding. We didt bump into each other there are so many places here to go. We as it turned out went so close to each other then Milt got the car bogged on the beach. Thank goodness we have the walky talkies... we eventually got yhem and Dave saved the day.... tonight we are having a cookup over at the camp kitchen $15 a head. We have already met quite a few people so hope to have a good night around the bonfire. The off again tomorrow. I didnt take photos of the said bogging BUT Jen did...lolRead more

    On a neautiful day on a dusty track we leave Fowlers Bay. Last night at the cook out i won the raffle.. a fowlers stubby holder some choccus and a magnet... yeah.. ots a pretty one too. . Robyn was lovely but simon was a bit of a winging pom... not so much a people person.i really love fowlers bay. We exchanged numbers with kelsie and colin who are heading to Karratja for work. They left mackay in november and his maybe job starts end of march so they are doing the coast... a lovely couple.Read more
