Well milt and i loved Coffins Bay. The caravan park had everything we want in a temp home. Today heading to Cowell.
Another beautiful day yesterday. We loved fishing out on the point on the rocks... no luck with the fish or squid but saw more bloody stingrays.Read more

Port Lincoln

We are not used to such hustle and bustle of normal life, it was a bit busy for us..lol...some really pretty things here tho. The beaches are very rocky. Lovely parks and the beachfront with big trees and grass are beautiful. We drove past the port lincoln Hilton and it seems axactly the same as when Milt did the shopfitting all those years ago. He said the counter is the same even after 20 years.. i think he got a hoot out of that. We saw Makybe Diva statue on the forshore then a little servo on the outskirts had a giant shark.. well we just had to take some pics. The Adelaide to Port Lincoln classic yacht race was just finishing but the photos dont do it justice. It was really pretty to watch.Read more
Traveler Col and I stayed there on the way ! And I got a photo of him in the sharks mouth too 😂 such tourists lol - did you find the fish cafe?? Yummo food there 👍

Very cute little town with a beautiful beach and jetty lots of art on buildings and silo.. some better than others. A very nice very friendly bakery. Wayyyyy tooooo muchhhhh sauce on my pie... was very delish tho.Read more

A teeny tiny town... i would say a very busy place in peak time but today apart from people travelling thru it apears to be a ghost town... great facilities for travellers.

Im not going to lie.... i dont like anything about Cowell..... the sea stinks as it is covered right up to the shoreline.. stinky sludgy yukky seaweed... the silo art is a bit meahhhh its old and yukki. Our campsite leaves a little to the imagination.. rural !!!
Sure is. Its dusty and everywhere you look are caravans that have been turned into homes... the poor vans come here to die !!!!!!!Read more

Not much to see here. Had a quick stop. Then heading to Porta Gutta... where our trip together began... how fast have those 3 1/2 weeks gone... we have seen so many amazing things.

Left alford at 4pm after waiting for Jen and Dave.... thank goodness we didnt wait any longer as they didnt pass thru Alford. Dad made a corned silverside roast in expectation that we would arrive. Of course we were going to pop in for the last few days.

Last day of our trip

Jen and Dave left this afternoon after Dave went fishing. Sad..... but i think they just wanted to get back to the river. We will be leaving the shack tomorrow after i out-fish Milton.... i just took these last pics of todays sun.. i love this place. Spending time with Mum and Dad. We just dont see them enough.Read more

Last fish for the holiday

Dad Milt and I went out fishing this morning milt out fished me... it was neck and neck until milt caught a double header. 14 whiting 2 squid and 8 crabs. Not a bad morning. Now to pack up and head home. Jett will be so excited to see us. The last picture is the dog box..or the pound.. full of shitty fish... throw backs... i caught the bloody dog shark... it was a whopper.Read more

Arrived home 6:30pm Jett was very pleased to see us. Tyler has a handfull of mates here and the fridge looks like a batchelors pad. Lol. Just over 8 thousand klms . What a great holiday
