    After early check in we met Vickey from the Rocks Walking Tour to show us how Sydney Harbour became what it is today. Recommended for history buffs
    We joined Fiona from Altmann & Cherny to view the larger opal in the world. It sits safely in their vault on Pitt Street. You can learn a little bit of what opal mining is about with a 7 minute video the. Browse the shop and maybe pick up a little gift for yourself😉

    Had an interesting tour of The Rocks yesterday! 11 original buildings still remain from the 1800’s. Amazing to see and hear what it was like back then compared to what it is now!

  • Blue Mountain

    Started our 7 am journey out of the city to the Blue Mountains. Misty day visibility was a challenge. A tour at Scenic World allowed for a cable ride down to the forest bed and a chance to walk about the forest before riding the cable car up. A quick lunch in the town of Leyre before heading to the Sydney zoo. The night ended with a dinner cruise around the Sydney Harbour. Time for our next adventureRead more

    Nocturnal tour with Southern Cross Tours
    First a tasty coffee and sweet break at the Manor a homestead that was moved 3 times and was finally rebuilt in 1910.     An aboriginal tour with Juan departing from Port Douglas. A drive to Mossman for some history of the sugar cane industry to a walk in the mudflats/mangroves and test out our spearing abilities. Juan exposed us to Dreamtime stories, showcased the wonderful fruit locally grown and educated us with local plants, fauna and mind blowing views. An outstanding young man and his business has been recognized for outstanding service and knowledge. Highly recommend !Read more
