While Karen and Ron were at work, we went to the Lewis and Clark Caverns in one of Montana's state parks near Willow Creek, Montana, about 1 1/2 hours from Helena. According to our tour guide we were officially "spelunking".....exploring a cave. This was a first for both of us and we thoroughly enjoyed the new experience. The cave is lined with many different stalactites, stalagmites, columns and helicites. The caverns were carved from the Madison Limestone Formation which was a rock layer that formed over 350 million years ago. It was very impressive and our pictures don't do it justice. Thank you Karen and Ron for recommending such a fun place to explore.もっと詳しく
