Arizmendi bakery

Hugo told us we should start our day here as it has nice food, and is near lake Merrit so we can just start walking after breakfast. We were not disappointed, Seamus chose two cookies, and I chose some kind of yeasty roll with pecans and caramel sauce, it was heavenly.
Another interesting thing was that this was a workers cooperative; which means that all the workers are equal owners of the company. They all have an equal one vote in deciding all matters, and they share profits equally too.En savoir plus
