Oberried – Sunday Mode

Back in Oberried im Allgäu, Sunday delivered exactly what it should: great food and even better company. More time to catch up with Julia, paired with another incredible meal — chicken grilled over beech logs, green asparagus salad, and parsley potatoes.

As the evening settled in, the light suddenly shifted into a surreal, almost hazy glow. Looking out the window revealed the reason: massive clouds of pollen rising from the surrounding forests and meadows, lifted into the air by a light breeze. Absolutely stunning to watch — though slightly terrifying if you’re dealing with allergies.

Also, small plot twist of the day: turns out the “hybrid” rental hadn’t been charging its battery… until now. Problem solved — and suddenly the road trip just got a bit more efficient.Læs mere
