London’s Coffee Trail

Leaving the Barbican behind, I continued towards my next coffee stop, passing through Bunhill Fields Burial Ground.

Far from feeling eerie, the cemetery was surprisingly peaceful.

Centuries-old gravestones leaned gently against one another, sculptures peeked through the trees and nature had quietly reclaimed much of the space.

It felt less like a cemetery and more like an outdoor museum.

My destination was Ozone Coffee.

From the outside, the brick building looks surprisingly modest.

Step inside, however, and the place just keeps going.

What initially appears to be a small coffee shop opens into a large, bustling café and restaurant filled with people enjoying brunch and excellent coffee.

The seasonal espresso blend immediately caught my attention, while the warm afternoon convinced me to order a cold brew as well.

Excellent decision.

From one coffee shop straight to the next.

My next stop was Origin Coffee.

The contrast couldn’t have been greater.

Where Ozone felt industrial and lively, Origin embraced clean Scandinavian-inspired design. Even the coffee selection felt a little more adventurous and experimental.

When the barista told me that buying a bag of beans also came with a complimentary espresso…

Well…

Who am I to argue with a deal like that?

Another bag of beans joined the growing collection.
