    The Journey to San Fran

    The journey to San Francisco was for the most part uneventful. Minus the 1.5 hours we spent on the tarmac in Vancouver as we were not allowed to take off.
    Our hotel - Timbri - is lovely, but in a rather questionable neighborhood.
    Once arrived, we moved quickly to an Irish bar for snacks and Guiness - it’s St. Paddy’s Day weekend afterall. The tour went on to Tunnel Top cocktail bar and ended at Delarosa Italian Restaurant for pizza, pasta and wine.    Read more

    XDS Ignite 2025 - Day 1

    We left the hotel super early today to get to the Google Downtiwn headquarter for our XDS Ignite 2025 Event.
    After waiting in the lobby for an hour, Taylor and I were finally allowed into the building.
    The first event day went by in a flurry of speeches and talks. Finished off with a Social Mixer.
    After arriving back at the hotel, Taylor and I met our marketing agent for a long cocktail meeting.    Read more

    Today was the second day of XDS Ignite, as well as our Advisory Committee Meeting and Happy Hour.
    I finished the day off with a stroll through downtown and dinner at Hinodeya with a delicious bowl of Dashi Ramen.Read more
