Tralee Golf Club

We are now staying in Tralee on the south west coast in Ireland. We played the Tralee Golf Club which one would assume is in Tralee but it about 20 miles west right on the coast near Fenit. This is our final round on the west coast.

The course was designed by Arnold Palmer. The front 9 was relatively easy but the back 9 was brutally hard. One hole was 550-600 yard par 5 straight up hill. A couple of the par 3s were tough shots over gorges that were all carry to make the green.

After golf, it was a fellow traveller’s birthday so we met in the hotel bar for a champagne toast. She was very happy about the toast and well wishes .Læs mere
