Astorga to Rabanal de Camino

Left for Rabanal at 7: 30 AM, approximately 21 km's. Can't tell you much about Astorga. Never left the Albergue was very tired. Thought about bypassing Rabanal because it is only 21 km's from Astorga. Imagine when you would consider 12 miles a short day. Because it was a steady climb maybe it wasn't so short afterall. Passed through several small towns so had an opportunity to stop and relax a couple times. Talked with a wonderful young lady for about 5 km's, AJ from Melbourne Australia. Originally from Bombay India. Her family left India when she was 11, she has a graduate degree but says something is missing from her life so she hopes the Camino will help her find what that is, very nice, very enjoyable convo. The Albergue in Rabanal is small and rustic, I love it. A very nice couple runs it. I definitely enjoy the small Mom and Pop type Albergue's over the larger and more crowded ones.Читать далее
