Shinkansen to Kyoto

Today we took the speedtrain Shinkansen to Kyoto (2,5 hours train ride for 450 Km) incl a smoking room - very nice! Arrived in our very japanese appartment with a private onsen (hot bath, not that you need that with the heat and the humidity but oh well) on the balcony and checked out the neighbourhood.
