    Finally we're flying away! First destination: Vienna, where we will spend the day before moving to Bratislava. The Lauda air is ready and on time...is a little bit cold and is good... because we need to prepare for island!

    It's really magic! We decided for the first time to try the electric scooters... we enjoyed a lot! And at the end we moved to the train station with the scooters 😎🤟. Wow

    Some little problems with the lock to enter in the airbnb... but at the end we made it! Now "palugo" and than ready to visit the center!
    Third country visited in the first day. . Not so bad!

    Wonderful walk in Bratislava...The city center is pregnant of history, and full of people and life. I would say less asburgic than Vienna 😁. Before dinner we had a walk till the Danube, we saw the big boats from the bridge (where you can see the UFO restaurant and the castle) and we had an aperitif in a nice place close to the river, the City beach. Dinner in a local restaurant... and walk back to the Airbnb. No energy to spend for the night, but the city was preparing for it!!!Read more

    Second day - from Bratislava to Brno

    Ok. Second day... in the morning visit to the castle, then again to the center, searching for the famous statue. But we had a surprise! The photographer was moved to the UFO! From the castle great view of the city. We also found a cute bar in the center for breakfast, and we found finally also our mascotte! The yellow bear! You can see him out of the door of his house, that he decided to leave forever.

    Brno. What a surprise!

    We discovered a wonderful city, full of life, energy, history. As soon as arrived we went to the center to eat something, and then to our hotel, efi hotel. Perfect place with swimingpool and free taxi to the center... even if you can reach the center with a 15 minutes walk.
    The aperitif in the central square (namesti nobody) was superlatif, also the visit to the Spielberg castle was pregnant of meanings, at least for the Itaoian history (Silvio pellico wrote there the book my preasons).

    After that.... water, water, water,... beer, beer , pivo... and food for a very cheap dinner (50 € for 5 people).

    From Brno to Ostrava

    This is a "trip" day. We had a good breakfast in the morning, then taxi to brno station. Surprise... our train to Ostrava is a bus... and we have to wait 2 hours... perfect to visit a park close to the station!     And Ostrava to Krakow

    We did it! The trip between Brno and krakov is really long. First a bus... second part to ostrava in train... then Intercity to Krakov... but the surprise is that we had to go to the first coach... because the train was divided during the trip... we came back for a while after the division... and slowly we moved to Krakov. We planned to eat in Ostrava.. but we were late .. only 5 minutes to change train...

    Trains in check republic seems to be very old and slow...

    Our arrival in Krakov is under the rain... so we took a taxi; taxi driver super fool, he gave us some tips. Visit the Jewish district, the old town, and the salt mines... for the last option no way...

    We arrived at home, shower and finally food in the Jewish district: humus, soup and pieriogi.

    After we decided to go to the old town, and I really think it was one of the best night walks till now!!    Read more

    From Krakow to Oslo!

    We spent the morning in Krakov, waiting for our flight till 12.
    First of all, finally, we tasted the special rounded bread Obwarzanek. I wanted also to go with the Segway around the city... but... my kids were not of the same idea.
    So we decided to see the old market, and to go to eat the Zapiekanka, a sort of pizza 😱; but it was closed, so we opted for the hard rock cafe!

    Finally we moved to the station, but before we found a wonderful water bottle for Marina.

    And during the train trip to the airport, we booked a wonderful whales watching tour! Now we're really close to start our Island adventure!    Read more

    Oslo!

    Yes. We landed just now. The most "convenient " way to go to Oslo is the bus. 92 eur. 🤯
    The problem is that we landed in the Torp Airport, 120km from the center!
    The trip was really long, but the end is great. Oslo is a very nice city! We went from the train station to our Airbnb in metro... and after a little rest we went to the center for a wonderful evening! The light in Oslo is till 10 30, and we discovered one of the best cities if our trip!Read more

    Ready for Iceland!

    Ok. Today is THE DAY! We're now at the airport, ready to fly to Island! Unfortunately the flight is a little bit late, but we will use this time to take a rest. This morning we hada ride with our electric scooters, we visited the royal palace and we finally had our street food! Fish burgers, chili and fried cheese. Wow!

    We can say that Oslo is really amazing, and we took a lot of pics... so O think I will need more than 1 post!

    At home! Now a quick tour to Reykjavik

    The location is fantastic... and the city super. We spent the night in a cute bar, with life music... like real Icelanders! It was 2pm for us, but the light and the adrenaline made feel everybody super good.

    snaefellsjokull national park

    Wow! The first full day in Iceland was amazing! We went to the snaefellsjokull national park (see the map), for a 250km tour. I cannot write the emotions we had, and pictures does not give the real experience! Now we're in a hostel, with a little pool with natural hot water!!! Of course we tried it!

    Whales watching!

    Finally is the day of the whales watching! We arrived to Davik, and we were dressed with a red water resistant covee; we sailed for 1 hour till outside the fjord and... yes! Dolfins and whales were waiting for us! In the way back we fished (Marina and Sara fished 😁) and as soon as landed we eat directly what we fished!!Read more
