After a 2,5 hour boatride we arrived at Amantani island, where we were warmly welcomed by our local mama Faustina. A very sweet lady that took care of us for the rest of the day, making us first lunch and giving us a warm bed to sleep in.
In the afternoon we climbed to top of the island to the temple of pachatata (father earth) to see the sunset. The steep climb and us not completely adjusted to the altitude, made the views even more breathtaking then they already were.
After our climb, back a our families house Mama Faustina had prepared us diner, so we would be ready for the party. First we off course had to dress properly to be able to go to the dance where everybody danced together, but each with their own family.もっと詳しく
