Avignon

Avignon town centre is in ancient area surrounded my medieval walls. It's known for the Palais des Papes (Popes' Palace) . I've been here before, but this time, I was lucky enough to stay in an old hotel overlooking the palace. Divine! And the hotel was gorgeous.

After a couple of drinks, my travel buddies decided to knock on the palace door to see if the Pope ('Frank') was home. 🤣Lue lisää
