Absolutely magical. Until the day tourists arrive.
We'd originally planned to do a day trip to Capri from Sorrento. I'm so glad we changed our minds and stayed for a couple of nights. I'm sure I wouldn't have loved Capri as much if we'd only done a day trip. Too many tourists, I'm sure it's doing irreparable damage.
We stumbled onto via Krupp at dusk and had this amazing path almost to ourselves. I can't explain it. It was such a special and unexpected moment.
Capri is best when the large day crowds have left the island, and you can find a quiet spot to yourself.Read more
