The stray cats of the Casablanca medina

I've been to Casablanca a couple of times before. It's not my favourite Moroccan city. I had half a day, so I spent most of my time wandering through the medina.

If you saw my post from Tbilisi in Part 1 of my sabbatical, you may remember a post on the stray dogs that are well cared for. This one is on stray cats, but unfortunately, these cats aren't so lucky.

The ones in the post look okay, but they are the exception. I haven't posted the ones that are unwell. Also, most are scared of people, so photos are hard to get. Uncared for animals are one of my least favourite things about travel.Read more
