Sheraton Downtown PHX

This is a really nice hotel. It has a big lobby with lots of comfortable seating, where I worked when I wasn't needed at the convention center. I was on the 23rd floor and had a spectacular view. There's a pool that's adequate for lap swimming, although it's a little weird--99ft long and about 10ft wide. Also heated to something like 87 degrees. But outdoors, so still better than the gym. There were some other strange conferences going on--ours was preceded by a meeting of Furries, and in the middle of the week we were inundated by AXON who apparently make tasers and robot police dogs. And who hire almost exclusively jacked white dudes. I tried to get a pic of them all in our lobby, but it didn't really work out and I didn't want them to tase me.Read more
