Trying to excape the heat

We are trying out that early bird life style again to try to beat the heat. This is a much more humid heat than Budapest was so it’s pretty much hot 24/7 even in the shade. We took the hottest train ever (Europe please get on the AC trend) from Florence to Viareggio where we found out there was a forest/crop fire happening near by but we were not getting back on the train till our bodies went in the water. So to the ocean we went. It was definitely worth it even with ash in the water because it’s cooler here and we can just stay in the water. We then had great sea food and pasta, watched our last ocean sunset of the trip and took a, much cooler, train home.Læs mere
