When in roma

Our last big hooray! Woke up extra early for this one because we had to arrive after our 2 hour train ride and still have some cooler hours. It kinda paid off, but by the end of our colosseum tour it was time to hide from the sun at all costs. Luckily 90 feels much better than 100 so it’s going pretty well. We made a wish in the Trevi fountain and took as many photos as a person can in the 15 minutes the tour guide gave us to walk the whole first level of the colosseum. We learned it used to be covered in white marble, the lady’s had to stand on the top level (rude), and that most of the gladiators weren’t killed because they were somewhat celebrities and the king didn’t want to be hated by the people.Weiterlesen
