Up to the clouds! And snow!

Today we woke up to sunshine in Akureyri! So we rushed out to do a hike. We wanted to be sure we were able to see the views rather than just fog like a good portion of yesterday. (The fog got so thick only the section of road we were on was visible! It’s like we were in nothing nowhereness). It stayed sunny till the top which was good but boy was it unexpectedly sweaty! No one knew how long this hike was going to be and it really felt like it kept going and going and going. Just when we thought it was the top 500 more feet and then 500 more and up to about 3000ft elevation change! And we went past the point of snow on the mountaintop, Súlur.Leia mais
