Godafoss: Waterfall of the Gods

First destination is Godafoss which means waterfall of the gods. Named for some guy throwing the pagan gods over the falls when Iceland excepted Christianity instead. It was very pretty and again the color of the water was really calming and unique with the black sand swirled into the blue. We got to walk across a bridge and down to the base of it which added to the excitement. We then had lunch and madre made as us try dried fish chips (bad! Not recommended!)Read more
