The most perfect whales <3

After all that we are doing our whale watching boat ride today!!! After having like the best salmon I have ever had, we were off to the ocean in Húsavík. The bay is called Skjálfandi which means trembling because it’s near the fault lines and has a number of earthquakes. We saw two whales!!! One so many times and his mouth coming out of the water while he eats! It was soooo amazing I started to cry! Once it happened so close to the boat it really gave me the we are so small and how can this creature exist feeling. I also learned how whales sleep with one half of their brain at a time so they can keep breathing and the arctic terns do the same thing while flying from pole to pole each year.
