The most perfect whales <3

After all that we are doing our whale watching boat ride today!!! After having like the best salmon I have ever had, we were off to the ocean in Húsavík. The bay is called Skjálfandi which means trembling because it’s near the fault lines and has a number of earthquakes. We saw two whales!!! One so many times and his mouth coming out of the water while he eats! It was soooo amazing I started to cry! Once it happened so close to the boat it really gave me the we are so small and how can this creature exist feeling. I also learned how whales sleep with one half of their brain at a time so they can keep breathing and the arctic terns do the same thing while flying from pole to pole each year. We got snackies while watching and just had the most mind blowing few hours!!!En savoir plus
