More classic iceland!

Our hotel, Lilja Guesthoise, has a view of the glacier from the front door! Tomorrow we will see it up close but today we are going to another falls, Svartifoss, which is a one mile up hill hike! Nice to get a few more steps in 🙃 but it was lovely and the partial clouds make for very good lighting! Next up is diamond beach! Black sand just does look cooler doesn’t it! And colder when covered in ice chunks floating right off the glacier and into the ocean.Read more
