Drying out and heading home

Continuing from the last post we went to lake vermillion for our needed break from bugs. It also got sunny again so we swam and laid out. It gave a lovely view of the hundreds, literally, of bug bites we all have. We probably scared the beach goers into thinking we have chicken pox. For our last dinner we made pizzas in the pie irons and corn over the fire. The stove is not working the best, we really seem to have used all the Zielske camping stuff to its last breath. We got a crazy lightening show as we sat around the fire making s’mores and then went to bed. I thought we were gonna get hit again by a downpour but it never came. In the morning though we still had to lay out a ton of stuff to dry. A lot of it from the day before which was touching the edge of the tent. I stood by the line and waved it back and forth for an hour or so and stuff was basically dry by the time we left and headed home.Læs mere
