• Whale Shark Tour

    7 November 2023, Indian Ocean ⋅ ☀️ 30 °C

    Wow!!! What a day!

It started at about 2.30am with a thunderstorm.... which started a bushfire not far from our camp ground 😳 by 4.30am people were banging on each other's doors to warn them of the danger.... cue no sleep 😴

But bright eyed and bushy tailed nonetheless, we got on the bus at 7.30am to start our reef adventure!

It started with a great little snorkel out on the reef and then a drive into open water to swim with the whale sharks if we saw any as its the end of the season and by now they are usually gone🤞

With a spotter plane over head to direct the crew we didn't get to swim with 1 but 3!!! It was a perfect calm day and unheard of this time of year to see so many!

What an incredible experience to swim alongside these 7m giant fish!

Amazing food, 2 amazing snorkels on the reef and 4 swims with the whale sharks!!!!

So grateful for this experience together ❤️
