Parkes Observatory CSIRO

What a HUGE trip from Bairnsdale to QLD in a week covering over 2000km...

We headed from Canberra straight to Dubbo and then Moree before heading to Tara to stay with Dale (Woody from Phoenix) and all his animals!!!!

On the way we had an afternoon stop at Parkes Observatory which was really fascinating and Lottie enjoyed doing the kids quiz!

Our final leg from Tara to Howard (Dave Huggets house) should have been 5hrs but it was one disaster after another. The front of the trailer started to fall apart so the side walls were popping out, and finally we lost an entire wheel from the trailer which was no where to be found.....

That required a 2hr round trip for me to drive to Kingaroy to get parts which was then followed by a further 3hrs driving completing a 11hr day arriving at 7.30pm 🫣😵‍💫😖もっと詳しく
