Robinsons Round Oz

There was lots of excitement seeing the snow for the first time as we drove up the mountain in -5 degrees! ❄️🥶🤪

When we arrived we got kitted out and the girls did a 2hr 'learn to ski' lesson whilst Chris, Tom and I went up and down the trainer slope (which to be honest was pretty steep for a training area!).

It wasn't long before Tom decided he was ready for jumps and of course he had some great stackers but he did finally nail it!!! 😂

The girls ditched their lesson a bit early because they were bored and hadn't really moved off the flat and wanted to come up the slope with us..... they pretty much familiarised themselves with wearing the skis and learnt how to move around in the them and do a snow plough to stop.

So naturally the next thing they wanted to do was to go up on the ski lift and come down the steepest hill 🤷‍♀️

They nailed the lift straight away and after a few hours were totally smashing it!

Because it's the start of the season and not a huge amount of snow there were only 2 lifts open so we drove to BIG D and decided to try the girls on the big slope with the 4 person chair lift!

They were incredible... by the end we were all racing and Lottie actually beat me on one run!

We had the best day.... absolutely knackered by the end of the day and Bella was completely beyond it.

She held it together all day but the combination of trying so hard to deal with the clothes, being cold, tired and physically exhausted was a bit too much for her so there were multiple tantrums at dinner and on the way home 🫣

But all in all couldn't have had better weather and just enough snow for us to all enjoy the slopes 😍

It was a long day leaving at 4.30am and getting back at 9.30pm but what a memory to have with the kids and to tick that off their bucket list!!!Meer informatie
