    Stop #2 today was at Omaha Beach, where one of the bloodiest battles in history took place. This is where the Americans came ashore on D-Day. 10,000 soldiers were killed that day. There's a monument and a recently placed sculpture. The Omaha beach sculpture was created to honor the brave men who sacrificed their lives in the hope of restoring freedom to the people of France.
