    19. maj, Norge ⋅ ☀️ 66 °F

We learned a few things on the way to Dale of Norway. Norway averages 240 days of rain per year, so again, we are very fortunate. Sunny and 74⁰ today. Bergen used to be the capital of Norway; now, Oslo is the capital of Norway.
Land of 1,000 tunnels, and we went through at least 20 during our 1 ½ hour ride.
Bergen is called the city of mountains - 7 mountains surround the city.
Red & yellow colors of paint were easier to get in the early years, so most houses are painted yellow or red. White was more expensive, so higher social class families had white ones.
17th of May is Constitution Day, a big day in Norway.  Parades, etc. People wear their traditional folk costumes, bunads, which are usually handed down in the family. You can tell which region they're from based on the color of the bunad. (Bergen is blue).
