Calgary foothils

Beautiful hike in the mountains of Alberta yesterday. A wonderful reminder of how nature endures despite all the madness in our world right now.

17 K hike up Alberta Mountain and around the back. The sun was shining and the air was clean what more can you ask for.

Decided to hike the last 3 Ks barefoot, all the little rocks had a different idea so the last K i wore a pair of wahachas, a rubber sandal built by the indigenous of south America.
