Pforzheim, Youth Hostel

Had a relaxing day after the ride down from Daum. Spent most of the day chilling. I did wander into town but the only coffee shop I found did not have wifi so I didn't stay for long. Came back to the hostel but the ones in Germany don’t really seem to have lounges, just eating areas, so you cant really relax in them except in your room. As I was walking from the hostel to town I was accosted by this bloke who asked me if I could help him out. Warily I asked how. Turns out he was a local artist who needed help bringing one of his large paintings down the stairs from his apartment (by the hostel) to the back of his van. Got through the whole process without being kidnapped. Well done!

Sat 27th
Moved to an apartment in Pforzheim after spending the day at the hostel working. I moved because I wanted somewhere to work and the apartment at Koblenz was so nice I thought i would duplicate the experience. Unfortunately this apartment wasn't anywhere near as nice and in hindsight I should have either stayed at the hostel or moved on.Read more
