Spent three days in Istanbul. Stayed at the Cheers Lighthouse Hostel which was a mere 5 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque. I was surprised to find that the Blue Mosque, the Sofia and Topkapi Palace were all on the same stretch.
Mixed feelings about the city. Very touristy, at least where I was, which meant a fair bit of hassle. But nothing like as bad as Egypt.
Third evening went on a Bosphorus cruise. Ventured into the Asian side for the first time.Läs mer
