This was a first visit to Surabaya by Riveria. The Tourist Ambassadors for Surabaya, Cak and Ning

Today was an enjoyable day in Bali.
Another slow 2 hour drive to the Tegalalang Rice Terrace. This is a stunning area with terrace landscapes, lush green paddies with a backdrop of soaring mountains.Weiterlesen
Stayed on board at this port. The closest town was a 60 minute drive from the port. With the humidity and heat of the last week, we opted to relax on board and have a spa day.
Quiet day a sea.
Attended a presentation on Jakarta and Singapore. Pre-Dinner cabaret. Relaxing day before 2 long days of tours.
Joined 2 other couples for a private tour.
A contrasting city of modern buildings and poverty. Also, a sinking city. Some areas are sinking at a rate of 11 inches a year. Amazed that are new highWeiterlesen
Day 2 started with a little apprehension. Our driver for the day arrived at the port at 5:00 am. Thank goodness he did as the computer systems for entrance to the port was down. Trucks backed up forWeiterlesen
Very quiet sea day, rained a good part of the day.
Immigration was so slow. We didn't leave the port until 11:30. Good news we were able to check in hotel by noon.
