Meeting Point @ Meishan

After our train ride from Xi’an, Craig and I met up with Wilson, ST, Emily and our guide.

Meishan is located in the southwest of the Chengdu Plain in the
Sichuan Basin. This was the hometown of Su Dongpo (Su Shi)
(1037-1101 AD), a great litterateur and gastronome in the Northern
Song Dynasty (960 - 1127AD). The famous dish, Dongpo Pork aka
Braised Pork Belly is said to be created by Su Dongpo.Read more
