En Route to Huanglong National Park

🌲 Jiuzhaigou Adventures & Beyond! 🌄

After an epic day at Jiuzhaigou National Park 🏞️ (those colorful lakes and waterfalls are surreal! 😍), we wrapped up with an incredible dinner at a Tibetan restaurant🍽️. The food was a feast of unique Tibetan cuisine that totally hit the spot, and the atmosphere was next level with live music🎶. The staff wore colorful traditional Tibetan clothing – their vibrant outfits were a perfect match to the lively vibe!

After a late night of packing 🧳, we started early, boarding a van to our next adventure: Huanglong National Park 黄龙风景区 (UNESCO World Heritage Site 🌏)! After breakfast ☕, we set off for Huanglong, also known as the “Yellow Dragon” 🐉 – wait till you see those rainbow-colored pools! 😮

Along the way, we stopped at a Tibetan Bon Temple ⛩️, which predates Tibetan Buddhism. Bon is an ancient spiritual tradition with a history stretching over 18,000 years 📜! The temple beautifully combines elements of both Bon and Tibetan Buddhism, showing how the two faiths merged. 🧘🏽‍♂️✨ Bon’s deep connection to nature 🌿 and the sky is especially inspiring.
