Local lore even claims that if you rub his helmet, you’ll have good luck—or even a surprise encounter with love!

🏰 Bratislava Castle: Perched high above the Danube River, the mighty Bratislava Castle is impossible to miss. Its history stretches back to the 9th century, serving as a key military stronghold throughout the Middle Ages. During the reign of Maria Theresa, the castle became a lavish royal residence, but a devastating fire in 1811 left it in ruins for over 150 years. Today, it stands proudly restored, offering stunning panoramic views and housing the Slovak National Museum.
