    Trek to Florida 11/21- 4/22

    What a whirlwind 2 months.. I retired, we sold our house, went to Costa Rica , just spent a month at EastFork Campground and today our next adventure begins as we start a week trek to Florida (stopping in TN and GA)
    We will be working with Care-A-vanners building with Habitat for Humanity
    This is all something we always dreamed of doing but really didn't think it would happen!

    Habitat for Humanity

    Starting our first build

    Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps people in your community and around the world build or improve a place they can call home.
    we are not just building houses; we’re building lives and building hope, with God’s people in need.

    The houses are 3 bedroom, 2 bath
    Has attached storage shed and fenced yard

    First day we stamped the sand to ready it for foundation to be poured for 2 new builds

    8:00am meet for job assignments,
    devotion and prayer

    We had Thursday off for Veterans Day
    Walked around town
    Lots of Live Oak trees with Spanish Moss
    We had group pot luck for dinner - great group of people - from New Jersey, New Hampshire, Vermont and Canada!!

    Starting another 2 weeks in Dade City
    Had a great week home to see family and friends
    Beautiful sunrise from plane on flight back to Florida
    Many of same people with this build and added couple from Maine and a couple from New York

    The dog came to help each day while we were painting foundation on a house!!!😀 (though he did try to take off with some of our stuff!)

    We have group potluck on Thursdays
    Good food, couple guys played guitar and sang, great fellowship

    Enjoyed walking downtown Dade City for Christmas Stroll

    It's Birthday Week❤

    Original flight on Friday the 4th was cancelled due to ice in Cincinnati so our flight was rescheduled for Monday.
    We got to be home for Ethan's birthday 2/9 and Beckett's birthday 2/13
    We also got to see Ethan play 2 soccer games and play his final basketball game of season - going undefeated!!
    Beckett's party rolled into a Super Bowl party - exciting game to watch the Bengals even though they lost 23-20
