• 15 miles on the Camino Mozárabe

    We walked 15 miles on the Camino Mozárabe south of Córdoba. It is a historic, quiet Camino de Santiago route that starts in Andalucía (choice of Almería, Málaga, Granada, or Jaén) and passing through Córdoba to Mérida, where it joins the Vía de la Plata.

    Covering over 600km to Mérida, it traverses diverse landscapes, olive groves, and whitewashed villages.

    One advantage of walking the “wrong way” on a couple of these stages this week is that we got to ask hikers what they thought so far, and are adding this trek to our list of trails to do.
