Keukenhof, located in Lisse, Netherlands, is one of the world’s largest flower gardens, renowned for its vast displays of tulips and other spring flowers.

Open annually from mid-March to mid-May, the 32-hectare park features over 7 million bulbs planted each year, showcasing more than 800 tulip varieties alongside hyacinths, daffodils, and orchids.

Established in 1949 as a platform for Dutch flower growers, Keukenhof’s design includes themed gardens, pavilions with floral exhibitions, and art installations. The historic landscape, originally part of a 15th-century estate, also features waterways, woodlands, and a windmill offering panoramic views.

Keukenhof attracts about 1.5 million visitors annually, making it a major tourist destination. The gardens emphasize sustainability, with bulb recycling and eco-friendly practices. Accessible from Amsterdam (35 km away), it’s a celebration of Dutch horticulture and seasonal beauty.
